Frequently Asked Questions

Are you always open? When can I come to skate?

While our building is open almost 24/7, we are only open for Public Sessions during set times.
Please visit our Public Sessions Page to see when you can come skate!

How much does ice skating cost?

Every Public Session costs $12. Skate rental and sales tax is always included.
Please visit our Public Sessions page for more details.

Do you have any skating aids for beginners?

Yes! We offer walkers ($5) for use during any Public Session for beginning skaters 4’ tall and under.

What size skates do you carry?

The smallest rental skate we have fits a shoe size Toddler 6; the largest is an Adult 15.

What’s the difference between figure skates and hockey skates?

Figure skates are designed with a gently curved blade and have a toe pick at the front of the skate. Hockey skates have a shorter more steeply curved blade and do not have a toe pick.

Figure skates are often suggested for beginners. The shape and size of the blade allow for a more even weight distribution and encourage proper balance.
