An Eye On Irma

Facility updates regarding Hurricane Irma

An Eye On Irma (9/12/17 @ 2:02 pm)

9/12/17 (2:02 pm):  Everything is looking great at the rink!  Our staff is hard at work doing a little clean up and making sure the building is safe for everyone tomorrow.  At this time, we have been given the green light to reopen at 8:20 am for our earliest Freestyle Ice.  Thank you to those customers who have sent in a kind word via email and Facebook.  We hope everyone has power and clean roads tomorrow as the city begins to reopen.  Please continue to check this page and our Facebook page for any additional updates.

9/11/17 (4:19 pm):  We hope everyone has made it through Hurricane Irma safely.  After taking into account the power outages and debris, we have decided to remain closed until Wednesday to allow our staff and customers to stay with their loved ones, return home safely, and/or begin cleanup.  Fortunately, at this time we have power and require minimal maintenance.  With that, we will open Wednesday, September 13 at 9:00 am with our regular schedule.  Please continue to check this page and our Facebook page for any additional updates.

9/7/17 (1:15 pm):  As always, the safety of our customers and staff is our top priority.  Therefore, Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex will be closed for all programming Saturday, September 9 through Monday, September 11.  As for programming after Monday, we will make a decision as soon as possible.  We currently anticipate opening Tuesday, September 12 for our regular programming.  For current updates, please check back to this page and our Facebook page.

9/5/17 (11:20 am):  The Management at Jacksonville Ice & Sportsplex has a close eye on the progress of Hurricane Irma.  Check back to this page and our Facebook page for any additional updates.
